Benefits to you and your clients
Clinical trial participation enables you to offer free medical treatments and monitoring for eligible animals. Veterinary pharmaceutical companies fund all related expenses, including your time, office fees, diagnostic testing, and in some cases- even owner's time, in exchange for laboratory results to support their FDA submissions.
Benefits to Pets
Clinical trials support the development of new treatment options for everyday pets, and they cannot be performed without qualified participants. Your practice’s participation helps raise the standard of veterinary care.
Data Permissions
Your data will not be used for any other purpose other than clinical research. By agreeing to in the clinical trials database, you grant IDEXX permission to search and analyze relevant clinical data in your PIMS for the sole purpose of identifying pets that qualify for certain clinical trials. If your clinic is identified as having multiple animals, IDEXX will ask if you are interested in a trial. You can say no or opt in. If you opt into that trial, IDEXX will provide your clinic's name to the pharmaceutical sponsor for further contact.
